Panelist, Ask the Pro’s Hunting Access Panel
Zach Holt was born and raised in southwest Indiana, the son of public servants who instilled in him at an early age the meaning of discipline, the value of hard work and an unwavering appreciation for all things in nature. In small measure, his upbringing and teachings lead him to be a Land Specialist.
Having a place to hunt or better yet, a place of your own for you and your family is without a doubt the most common desire for most people today. To hunt though, you have to have land. For a lot of reasons, it’s getting more and more difficult to live an outdoor centered lifestyle. We’re all in jeopardy of losing the ability to pass down this way of living to the next generation. Having a place to hunt and practice is critical to the lifestyle. Even if you’re not a hunter, everyone wants land to recreate, shoot, camp, hike, garden, fish, forage, trap, dig and just enjoy.
For Zach, improving the land for the next generation or owner is one of the most satisfying and rewarding life pursuits. His passions include hunting turkey and deer, hiking, backpacking, and spending time with his wife and kids working on their homestead. Those are just some of the things that make being a Land Specialist a natural fit for Zach.
