CHUCK ADAMS - HUNTING MISADVENTURES
Chuck
Adams is the world’s best-known and most widely published
bowhunter. During the past 30 years, Chuck has written 4,700 magazine
articles and 10 full-length books. In addition to speaking at dozens
of America’s largest sporting events he appears 50 to 60 times
each year on ESPN, WGN, TNN and the Outdoor Channel, and stars on
ESPN’s “Whitetail Country” and “Advantage
Adventures” television shows.
In 1990, Chuck became the first archer in history to harvest all
27 varieties of North American big game-a feat called the Super
Slam. Chuck has bagged more than twice as many official Pope and
Young record book trophies as any other hunter in history-128 at
last count. Chuck has held archery World Records in Sitka Blacktail,
Coues Whitetail, Mountain Caribou, American Bison, and Yellowstone
Elk categories…more P & Y World Records than anyone else.
Chuck has 9 bow-bagged animals registered with the Boone and Crockett
Club, and 189 archery animals in Safari Club International’s
bowhunting record book-more entries with each club than held by
any other archer. Chuck is the only bowhunter to complete five Grand
Slams on American deer. He has taken 58 Pope and Young record-book
deer, more than anyone else.
Chuck Adams is a Senior Member of the Pope and Young Club, Professional
Member of the Boone and Crockett Club, Life Member of the Rocky
Mountain Elk Foundation, and member of Safari Club International.
At age 54, he is the youngest person ever inducted into Safari Club
International’s Bowhunting Hall of Honor and The National
Bowhunters Hall of Fame. Fewer than half a dozen archers share this
double honor, including the late Fred Bear. See
seminar schedule.
STAN POTTS - DEER HUNTING
Stan
Potts is a co-host on T/C's Game Trails, and he has also hosted
and appeared in several other popular hunting shows, such as Realtree
Outdoors and Hunter's Specialties Prime Time series. He hunts 100%
wild whitetails on public and private property and is well known
for his expertise in treestand placement and patterning big mature
bucks.
Stan has hunted whitetails for 40 years, harvesting numerous whitetail
bucks with a bow, three of which scored over 200 inches. He has
given hunting seminars all across North America and been the subject
of many feature magazine articles. His hunting successes have been
featured in North American Whitetail magazine, Illinois Game and
Fish magazine and several other media sources. See
seminar schedule.
JEFF FOILES - WATERFOWL HUNTING
Jeff started hunting at 6 years old. His first shot was out of a J.C. Higgins 12 gauge pump when he killed 2 Canvasback drakes. That started his 41 year love for waterfowling.
Jeff started guiding hunters at an early age, traveling across the United States and Canada doing what he loved and keeping his family fed. Jeff started the calling circuit in early 1990, winning many championships along the way. Some of Jeff’s most coveted titles include 2003 World All around Duck and Goose Champion by winning a combination of Seckelbelly Snow Goose, Canada Goose and Duck and his most recent title is the 2004 WCA World Championship Goose.
In 1991, Jeff began making his first call by putting together several pieces and turning out barrels. This was the beginning of the championship line of “Strait Meat” Duck and Goose Calls. By 1999, after working several years of waterfowl seminars and shows across the country and meeting some of the best waterfowlers from every flyaway, Jeff decided to make the “Strait Meat Honker” and “Strait Meat Mallard” calls. With the realistic tones of both patented calls, they were an instant success in the field and on the stage.
Now with a complete line of acrylic, wood, polycarbonate calls, videos, and waterfowl accessories, Foiles Migrators, Inc. is world proclaimed. See
seminar schedule.
BRANDON BUTLER - HUNTING INDIANA PUBLIC LAND
Finding a place to hunt is the greatest challenge sportsmen face today. Private property is becoming harder to attain, and not everyone can afford to lease land. Listen in as outdoor writer Brandon Butler explains how to take advantage of Indiana’s nearly half-million acres of public property. Learn the ins-and-outs of the Hoosier National Forest, as well as DNR state forests, fish and wildlife areas, and state recreation areas. Each year, thousands of quality whitetails and turkeys are taken on public ground. Attend this seminar so you can learn how you can take advantage of property you already have permission to hunt. See seminar schedule.
BILL EPEARDS - TURKEY HUNTING
Bill Epeards has been featured in many hunting videos and as a host for “In the Timber Whitetail Reality Series”. Bill has also been a regular guest on Mossy Oak’s Hunting the Country, Jimmy Houston’s Outdoors and PSE’s Today’s Bowhunter on the Outdoor Channel.
Bill has harvested moose, elk, caribou, mule deer, javelina, wild boar, turkey, whitetail deer, antelope, mountain lion and bear with a bow and arrow. He has five turkey grand slams and two world slams to his credit.
In his seminars you will learn the secrets of successful hunting, hear behind the scene stories of various hunts, and learn to develop skills for mastering game calling.
Whether you are a newcomer or a seasoned outdoor person, you are sure to learn new tips and techniques to advance your skills necessary to experience the thrill of the harvest. See
seminar schedule.
BYRON FERGUSON - TRICK ARCHERY
Byron became infatuated with the bow and arrow at the age of 12 and began working as a bricklayer’s helper to earn money to purchase his first recurve. Now famous for his coin trick, Byron once shot eight dimes in a row out of the air. He uses no sights or other gadgets when he shoots. He developed his style of shooting by sitting in a totally dark room and shooting out the flames of candles.
Splitting a playing card in half - from the side - is one of Byron’s favorite tricks. The most difficult shot of Byron’s career came while performing on the television show Super People in Tokyo when he shot an arrow through a diamond ring. Without knowing about the trick and without any practice, Byron made a perfect shot.
Byron strongly believes in Howard Hill’s philosophy: “If you want to become a good archer then you should learn the bow and let your body become an extension of the bow. If you want to become a great archer, you should let your body become the arrow.”
When Byron Ferguson put down his hunting rifle in favor of a bow and arrow, he had more than 200 whitetails to his credit. Byron appeared on American Shooter on TNN, ESPN, ESPN2 and OLN for ten years where his “SHOT OF THE WEEK” was the most watched portion of the show. Byron is again working with Jim Scoutten, host of American Shooter, on Jim’s new program Shooting USA on The Outdoor Channel. Byron served as host and producer on TNN’s Everything Outdoors the worlds first “how-to” outdoor TV program. See
seminar schedule.
KEVIN BOYER- FOOD PLOTS
Whether you’re thinking about doing your first food plot or you’re already planting a few acres, every hunter can learn something from Kevin Boyer’s decades of experience in managing food plots. As the producer of “Real World Whitetail” videos and field rep for Monster Plots, Kevin is an expert in managing and harvesting trophy whitetail deer. During his seminars he will be addressing such issues as whether or not food plots really help, why you should plant a food plot, how to get started, picking the right spot, what plants should be planted and how to care for your plot. See
seminar schedule.
DAVID RAY - STRATEGIC TRAIL CAMERAS
Trail cameras are both a tool and a toy, providing educational and enjoyable information. For the past 25 years, David Ray has been avidly pursuing whitetails in the hills of Southern Indiana. Deer hunting isn’t a season to David, it’s a year-round lifestyle. No matter the month, David stays busy conducting habitat improvement projects on his 300 acre family farm. For the last seven years, he has been running trail cameras year round, and has honed his prowess into an effective scouting strategy. Each year, David collects over 25,000 wildlife trail camera pictures. Join this multiple winner of QDMA’s trail camera photo contest, as he walks you through his year-round secrets on how to: inventory and age your bucks, monitor population and set doe harvest goals, monitor QDM impact, improve both deer and shed hunting success, keep tabs on the timing of the rut, and post-season monitoring, all with the aid of trail cameras. See
seminar schedule.
KEVIN MARSH - DEER PROCESSING

HOOSIER TREE DOG ALLIANCE
The Hoosier Tree Dog Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and preservation of the sport of hunting with tree dogs. Tree dogs are bred and trained to trail game, such as raccoons and squirrels, which take to trees as a means of escape. Tree dogs can be hounds, curs, feists or any breed that is used for hunting tree game. The Alliance will have several breeds of tree dogs available for the public’s inspection. They will be covering what they are used for, such as pleasure hunting, or field trials. They will also demonstrate that the flip side of field trials is Show Dogs. They will cover obedience, tracking equipment and how they help us to control our tree dogs in the fields. Click for pamphlet. See
seminar schedule.
